We save our 925 sterling silver scrap metal and use it for all of our sterling silver cast styles.
What do you mean by scrap metal? That's what's left after we're done making a piece of jewelry. 

Usually it consists of excess wire ends or cast styles that didn't work out. 

We also recycle and reuse our yellow bronze metal as well. 

Does this mean that we do not purchase casting grain?

No, at times we will still have to, however it does mean that what existing scrap metal remains is reused in the next batch. 

*Please note that bronze can sometimes leave a faint green mark after being worn. This isn't true for everyone, but if you do encounter this, do not be alarmed. It's simply the copper content of the bronze alloy reacting with the acids of your skin. If this does happen, simply wash your hands with soap and water after wear.
